Bay Village quality of life -am I missing something?

Alright, The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 10 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The walkability is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
