Been meaning to ask this. Household incomes average around $122,083 in Bay Village. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Weather-wise, the summers are underrated and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 5 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..
