Pros and cons of Bayamón zona urbana after 7 years

Hey folks, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $31,058 in Bayamón zona urbana. Median household income is $31,058, which feels on the lower side for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely challenging and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Fairview) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely excellent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (East) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.
