I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $42,157 in Bayonet Point. It's a a small town city with about 23,787 people. Median household income is $42,157, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $160,000, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.
