Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The school system is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in West for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The dating scene scene is improving
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
