What's it really like living in Bayonne?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2008. Crime rate is something to consider -Bayonne sits at 223.0 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 70,468 people. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $446,100 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'm a data analyst and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
