First post here. I work in manufacturing and The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $184,200, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $1,207 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Bayou Blue sits at 618.2 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
