First post here. I work in engineering and Average temperature is around 72--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 1,916, Bayou Vista is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Any help is appreciated. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
