Baytown quality of life -am I missing something?

Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2014. The unemployment rate is 5.8%, which is about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I'm a contractor and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.
