Should I move to Beach Haven West or stay in San Francisco?
Curious what people think. I'm a college student here and With a population of 5,164, Beach Haven West is a small town. The unemployment rate is 1.5%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
