OK so I'm originally from Pittsburgh and The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $93,347, which feels pretty solid for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much competitive but now it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in legal. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Indian.
