Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Beattystown sits at 62.7 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 4,479 people. With a population of 4,479, Beattystown is a small town. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.
