Pros and cons of Beaumont after 12 years

Alright, We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,505 for rent here. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Anyone in a similar situation? Any help is appreciated.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The public transit is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
