Healthcare options in Beaumont?

So, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely better than expected and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Highland) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
