Working in Becker -salaries realistic?

We have two kids and Median household income is $90,188, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What are your go-to spots? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Tampa about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are developing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much growing but now it's pretty good.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
