Hey, Just moved here 13 months ago and Homes are going for about $124,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 5.0%, which is about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a writer and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The cost of living is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much growing but now it's decent.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Minneapolis about 9 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from San Francisco about 13 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Four distinct seasons
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Rising rent and home prices
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is average.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
