Just moved to Bedford, any tips?

Median household income is $47,697, which feels on the lower side for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Bedford sits at 136.6 per 100K. Household incomes average around $47,697 in Bedford. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I've lived in West for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure
- The walkability scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..
