Rent in Beech Grove getting crazy

Anyone else feel this way? Just moved here 6 months ago and Rent is about $978/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 15,082 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I'm a chef and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
