Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Belgrade? We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Meadowbrook area are underrated. Kids love it here.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The outdoor recreation scene is tough
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
