Best neighborhoods to rent in Bell Gardens?
First post here. I'm originally from San Francisco and It's a a smaller city city with about 38,661 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Bell Gardens sits at 347.0 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,658 for rent here. Poverty rate is 19.0%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $527,900, which is pretty steep. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Good job market
- Nice parks and trails
Cons:
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Far from major airports
