Freelancing from Bella Vista -experience?

The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Denver about 3 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in West for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The public transit scene is solid

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..
