I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,545/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Atlanta about 11 years ago. The main reasons were weather and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is tough.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
