What I wish I knew before living in Bellefontaine Neighbors

I've lived in West for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries
- The dating scene scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much stable but now it's hit or miss.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Uptown area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it was the best decision I ever made.
