Worst things about Bellevue nobody talks about

Hello, Born and raised here. With a population of 2,158, Bellevue is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks for reading. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in West for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The weather scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
