Longtime lurker here, I'm a 54-year-old writer and Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
