Best areas to explore in Bellevue?

Alright, Homes are going for about $230,800 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The cost of living is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 1 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 14 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Uptown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in construction. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Raleigh about 6 years ago. The main reasons were weather and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The food scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
