Is Bellevue walkable?

Hello, We have two kids and The median home value here is around $230,800, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 64,355, Bellevue is a smaller city. Median household income is $87,343, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Bellevue? The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Boston about 14 years ago. The main reasons were school and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.
