Job market in Bellevue for tech?

So, Homes are going for about $230,800 on average. The median home value here is around $230,800, which is actually reasonable. The weather takes some getting used to. Should I be concerned? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Austin about 10 years ago. The main reasons were school and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is decent.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Miami about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Riverside area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Dallas about 5 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good airport with direct flights
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is decent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
