What surprised you most about Bellevue?

So, I'm a 40-year-old real estate agent and The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,202 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Maple Ridge. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
