Cost of living reality check — Bellevue
My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $2,505 for rent here. Rent is about $2,505/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Is this normal for Bellevue? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
