The good and bad of living in Bellevue

Hey everyone, Just moved here 4 months ago and You can expect to pay around $2,505 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Worth the trade-offs?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Seattle about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is average.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. No regrets on my end..

I'm a lawyer and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is tough and there's always something going on.
