Moving from Charlotte to Bellflower next month

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,771 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
- The healthcare scene is average

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
