Remote worker thinking about Bellflower

Hi all, Homes are going for about $661,100 on average. The median home value here is around $661,100, which is pretty steep. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Bellflower? Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
