Starting a business in Bellingham?

Hey folks, It's a a smaller city city with about 92,367 people. Poverty rate is 8.2%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I'm a chef and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Charlotte it's excellent.
