OK so I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $54,048, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 10,550, Bellmead is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Bellmead? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Denver about 3 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are stable, gas is challenging.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a teacher who relocated here from Dallas about 14 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are stable, gas is solid.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.
