How are the schools in Bellview?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Bellview sits at 705.5 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a marketing manager, 58, moved here 9 years ago from Atlanta. I've lived in Downtown and Riverside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Good internet infrastructure
3. Four distinct seasons
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Summers can be brutally hot
2. Bugs and humidity in summer
3. The safety situation is competitive and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Downtown: Great for remote workers. solid vibes, walkable.
- Riverside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Atlanta, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are pricey. Gas is reasonable. You can live comfortably on $80K-$90K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Greenfield area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The weather is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Baltimore it's excellent.
