Worst things about Bellview nobody talks about

Longtime lurker here, Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,051 people. Household incomes average around $62,375 in Bellview. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is tough in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely tough and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (Springfield) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
