Job market in Bellwood for tech?

Hey everyone, I'm retired and It's a a small town city with about 18,373 people. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great Thai places. the quality of life is solid.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Sunset area are pretty good. Kids love it here.
