Been living here since 2019. Poverty rate is 4.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,505 people. With a population of 27,505, Belmont is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much affordable but now it's hit or miss.

Came here for weather and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The safety is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
