Best neighborhoods to rent in Belmont?

Hey, I've been here for 16 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Belmont sits at 22.8 per 100K. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Belmont? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
