OK so I'm a 30-year-old physical therapist and With a population of 27,009, Belmont is a smaller city. Median household income is $178,188, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Minneapolis it's solid.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in education. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in consulting. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: decent. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Hope this helps!.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
