What's it really like living in Belmont?

So, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 15,140, Belmont is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 15,140 people. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Belmont sits at 210.5 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Far from major airports
- Limited cultural events
What would you do? The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
