Best hidden gems in Beloit

Longtime lurker here, My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 45--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 12.0%, which is around average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? Appreciate any input.

Used to live on the Old Town side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
