Living in Beloit -the reality

First post here. Born and raised here. Rent is about $989/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Any help is appreciated.

Came here for work and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is improving in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
