First post here. Military spouse here. Rent is about $1,989/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 8.5%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,989 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What do you all think? Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
