I've lived in North for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- The safety scene is solid

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 9 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is average.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
