Longtime lurker here, I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Bend sits at 153.1 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 101K people. Median household income is $88,792, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $88,792 in Bend. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What do you all think?
