Is Bend a good place to live?
First post here. I'm single, late 50s, and It's a a mid-size city city with about 101K people. Household incomes average around $88,792 in Bend. Homes are going for about $646,800 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,767 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
