The truth about Bend — honest review
Been a Bend resident for 6 years. Here's my honest take:
Pros:
- Friendly community
- Diverse food scene
- Growing economy
Cons:
- Summer heat is intense
- Winters are harsh
Overall I'd rate it 6/10. It's not perfect but I really enjoy living here.

Check out the Maple Heights area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.
