Hey folks, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,861 people. Homes are going for about $778,600 on average. Household incomes average around $125,040 in Benicia. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
